Bilderberg 2018

In an unprecedented move, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State, will take part in the Bilderberg Conference, an annual private gathering of global political, business and media leaders, taking place this year in Turin, Italy, June 7-10. It will be the first time in history, over 64 years, that a high-ranking Vatican official will take part in the Bilderberg Conferences. Parolin’s name is included in the list of 131 participants in this year’s event. Other 2018 attendees that Americans may recognize include: James Baker, Niall Ferguson, Henry Kissinger, Peggy Noonan, David Petraeus, Robert Rubin, Peter Thiel, and Larry Summers. The only person on the list who appears to be an ally of the Trump administration is Peter Thiel. The rest are Globalists. BTW, I wonder if the timing of the IG report release was moved to June 11th for two reasons. To follow the Bilderberg conference so it could not be discussed at the meeting...and also because President Trump will be in Singapore that day for the North Korean summit? Just a thought.
Started in 1954 the Hotel de Bilderberg in Oosterbeek, The Netherlands, and named after the same hotel, the Bilderberg Conference gathers each year some 120-150 participants, among them European and North American political elites, along with industrial, financial, academic and media figures.
The first meeting took place at the invitation of Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld. Co-founders of the meeting were Polish politician Jozef Retinger, former Belgian prime minister Paul van Zeeland, and Paul Rijkens, who was then the head of Unilever. The success of the first meeting brought the organizers to stage an annual meeting.
According to the groups’ official website, about two-thirds of the participants come from Europe, and the rest from North America, and one-third are political figures or government officials.
This year’s meeting is set to discuss populism (Trumpism and Brexit), the challenges of inequality, the future of work, artificial intelligence, U.S. midterm elections, free trade, U.S. global leadership, Russia, quantum computing, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Iran, and other current events (see below for the official agenda.) The Bilderberg meeting’s official website stresses that discussions are private, no minutes are taken and no reports are written.
The meetings are held under the so-called “Chatham House Rules,” an agreement typical of off-the-record meetings among academics or political leaders. According to that agreement, participants are free to use the information received, but they cannot disclose the identity nor the affiliation of speakers, nor can they disclose the other participants taking part in the conversation. Dubbed by critics to be a kind of “global shadow government”, and targeted by protesters who picket the meeting, the Bilderberg meeting has has an official website since 2011, and publishes the names of participants in the annual meeting the day before the gathering begins.
The cardinal’s participation in the Bilderberg Group could be part of a strategy of dialogue the Holy See is engaging with the small influential elite group. Last year, Parolin took part in the World Economic Forum in Davos, and there he delivered a speech in which he listed the aims of pontifical diplomacy.

The 66th Bilderberg Meeting to take place from 7 - 10 June 2018 in Turin, Italy
TURIN, 5 JUNE 2018 –The 66th Bilderberg Meeting is set to take place from 7 - 10 June 2018 in Turin, Italy. As of today, 131 participants from 23 countries have confirmed their attendance. As ever, a diverse group of political leaders and experts from industry, finance, academia and the media has been invited. The list of participants is available on www.bilderbergmeetings.org.
The key topics for discussion this year include:
  1. Populism in Europe
  2. The inequality challenge
  3. The future of work
  4. Artificial intelligence
  5. The US before midterms
  6. Free trade
  7. US world leadership
  8. Russia
  9. Quantum computing
  10. Saudi Arabia and Iran
  11. The “post-truth” world
  12. Current events
Founded in 1954, the Bilderberg Meeting is an annual conference designed to foster dialogue between Europe and North America. Every year, between 120-140 political leaders and experts from industry, finance, academia and the media are invited to take part in the conference. About two thirds of the participants come from Europe and the rest from North America; approximately a quarter from politics and government and the rest from other fields.

The conference is a forum for informal discussions about major issues facing the world. The meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor any other participant may be revealed.
Thanks to the private nature of the meeting, the participants are not bound by the conventions of their office or by pre-agreed positions. As such, they can take time to listen, reflect and gather insights. There is no desired outcome, no minutes are taken and no report is written. Furthermore, no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken, and no policy statements are issued.

French President Wants To Control the Press - Nazi Germany 2.0

All of Europe is turning into Nazi Germany, where the Minister of Truth censored all speech against the Nazi regime and spread hateful propaganda against the Jews. Now, French President Emmanuel Macron has come up with an idea for a censorship law - halting the publication of information his Government deems to be false ahead of elections. President Emmanuel Macron was himself targeted during his 2017 campaign by online rumors that he was gay and had a secret bank account in the Bahamas.
The law would allow social networks to introduce measures allowing users to flag up false reports, pass their data on such articles to authorities. Judges will have just 48 hours to rule on an urgent request to take down a post deemed "fake." And the law would authorize the state to take foreign broadcasters off the air altogether if they were attempting to attack France.
The British government has set up a censorship unit, while Italy has an online service to report false articles and the European Union is working on a "code of practice" that would provide guidelines for social media companies.
France wants to go further -- though not as far as neighbouring Germany, where social networks face fines of up to 50 million euros ($58 million) under a controversial law which critics say is overly draconian.
Some opponents fear French authorities could use powers in the new law to block embarrassing or compromising reports. Others worry the law could backfire by giving extra credibility to reports labelled "fake" by the Government amongst those convinced the government is out to hide the truth.
The government insists measures will be built into the law to protect freedom of speech, with only reports that are "manifestly false" and that have gone viral.
"It's a step towards censorship. It's potentially dangerous. It will only reinforce a sense of defiance towards the press and politicians who are already very discredited. Is France still a democracy if it muzzles its citizens? The law is not only imperfect and unnecessary, but also dangerous for the peace and diversity of public debate. It will turn judges into arbiters of true and false. I cannot defend measures under which it's considered normal to block all kinds of information because it's considered close to a foreign government."

Why Are We Not Treating Estrogen In Water Supply? It Causes Cancer & Gender Dysmorphia.

A huge genetic study now says chemotherapy doesn't help women with early-stage breast cancer. Most women don’t need treatment beyond surgery and hormone therapy. Right now, some 70,000 women are year undergo needless, harmful and expensive chemotherapy. The breast cancer study focused on cases where chemo’s value increasingly is in doubt: women with early-stage disease that has not spread to lymph nodes and is hormone-positive (caused by estrogen and progesterone.)
Cancer care has been evolving away from chemotherapy — older drugs with harsh side effects — in favor of gene-targeting therapies, hormone blockers and immune system treatments. When chemo is used now, it’s sometimes for shorter periods or lower doses than it once was.
Here's my question. Many scientists believe that breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men has skyrocketed since the 70's, and men have become more feminized, due to estrogen in contraceptives and replacement therapy and their resulting infiltration of our water and food through urine and disposal. Every time a woman takes a birth control pill or a hormone replacement pill or a transgender is treated with hormones, it goes right into our water supply. Since we know that hormones are causing cancer and gender dysmorphia, why are we recommending hormone therapy to the afflicted? Why aren't we educating the public and treating our water supplies? Seems counterintuitive.

Broward County Refused To Let Paramedics Treat Students. Then They Died.

BREAKING: New documents released confirm that Hillary and Debby Wasserman Schultz's pals at the Broward County Sheriff's office refused to let paramedics treat wounded students at Parkland. That's why so many died. Before you tell me that the scene wasn't safe, let me dispute that BS.
Paramedics kept asking for permission for additional medics, assigned to a Rescue Task Force, to go into rooms that had already been searched and found to be safe, to quickly extract and treat the wounded. They were told by the Broward County Sheriff Israel's commander that she “would have to check before approving this request.” They were DENIED six times. By then all the students were dead.
Even after authorities saw delayed surveillance footage showing the shooter had fled the building, those Coral Springs fire-rescue forces and paramedics were not permitted in. So, not only did the Broward County police, and school resource officer Scot Peterson, hide in the bushes and behind cars and not confront the shooter, they stopped first responders from treating victims until everyone was dead. What really happened at Parkland? Who really killed those kids? What didn't Sheriff Israel want the paramedics to see? If this doesn't convince you that it was more than just a "botched" rescue, nothing will.
Reports of paramedics being kept, for their safety, from entering the school is another lie fed to the media by Broward County. The latest records — some 80 pages — released by Coral Springs fire officials show that the Broward Sheriff’s Office also failed to set up an effective central command post, contributing to the confusion and frustration among the medics. The same issue was a problem in the January 2017 Fort Lauderdale airport killings — the last major shooting the Sheriff’s Office handled. The Broward County Sheriff's office is being sued for wrongful death in that shooting as well, obviously engineered for the gun control lobby. 6 people died.
The Coral Springs’ Rescue Task Force medics were eager to get inside to help but were thwarted six times for permission to enter “and all requests were denied.”
On the day this horrific news was released, prosecutors released a video of Nikolas Cruz from his cell phone. Really? Four months after the fact, they release a fake video of autistic Nikolas Cruz saying he planned the attack - the same day it is confimed that the Broward County Sheriff's office LET THOSE KIDS DIE? An obvious deflection from their culpability.
Digital editing techniques are so advanced that they can create fake video and audio that CANNOT be contested in court -- with only a photograph and a few spoken words. They had four months to create this one of Nikolas Cruz. If it was real, they would have released it on February 16. Not May 31. That kid didn't kill anyone. The gun grabbers did.

Italy's New Trump-Like Government Fighting Back Against Illegals

Italy is tired of being the dumping ground for the MENA's illegals into Europe and electing leaders that are fighting back against Soros and the Communist Globalist UN establishment and human traffickers. Sound familiar?
"The good times for illegals are over -- get ready to pack your bags. The free ride is over. Countries need to start doing their job and no more smugglers should be docking in Italian ports. These NGOs are taxis on the sea for illegals. Italy spends over 4 billion euros on illegals - half of which goes to "welcome centers." Arrivals must stop and deportations must rise," said Italy's new interior minister, Matteo Salvini, who took his oath of office on June 1st. He was speaking at a rally before an angry group of Italian citizens who live in a port town. Earlier, Salvini joined Premier Giuseppe Conte and the rest of the newly sworn-in Cabinet - a Trump-like populist Government.
Why are Italians so overwhelmed by massive illegal trafficking to Italy from North Africa and the Middle East (MENA)? In the past, illegals would travel through to Northern Europe. Now those countries are building WALLS and PROCESSING centers to stop illegals from entering Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria … and Italy is paying the price.
Italy's former left-wing government and authorities and militias in Libya are responsible for the trafficking of massive numbers of illegals into Europe since Hillary Clinton and her cronies engineered the fall of Gaddafi, the policeman of the region, and opened up the horn of Africa to Europe.
Since 2013, Italy has "received" more than 700,000 illegals. To speed up deportations -- of which there were just 6,500 in 2017 -- Salvini will have to increase the number of detention centers and sign agreements with origin countries, many of which are not eager to take back their citizens. In a bid to find funds, Salvini is eying the billions of euros set aside every year to deal with the "demands" of illegals - which are many.
In 2017, the former left-wing government announced a budget of some 4.2 billion euros for migrants, of which 18 percent is for rescues at sea, 13 percent for health care, and 65 percent for migrant reception centers, which host some 170,000 people. The centers in particular attract Salvini's ire. The vast majority of existing centers are run by cooperatives or NGOs who were promised 25-35 euros per day for each person they provide with lodging, clothes and other services including legal aid or psychological support. It's a huge profit center for NGOs.
Salvini will be in Luxembourg Tuesday for a meeting of EU interior ministers to discuss EU's controversial Dublin rule, whereby would-be refugees must file for asylum in the first bloc member-state they enter. The accord heavily penalizes Italy, which has seen more than 700,000 migrants arrive since 2013.

In early years the vast majority of illegals would continue their journey to northern Europe. But now, the introduction of EU-backed processing centers to ensure migrants are identified at their first European entry point, and tighter border controls and border walls installed by France, Switzerland and Austria to STOP illegals, are now creating roadblocks. In other words, Northern Europe has had enough and is building walls and Italy is being dumped on. Salvini says no more. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/6439133/matteo-salvini-italy-government-five-star-league-illegal-migrants-deportations/

Roseanne Isn't a Racist

Here's what the media is hiding. The side conversation on Twitter that Roseanne replied to and was fired for. It's obvious from the full exchange that she was not being racist - in fact she even pointed out that Valerie Jarrett was Muslim and Muslim was not a "race." Roseanne said she didn't even know Valerie Jarrett was black. Neither did most people. This proves it.

The media also didn't mention all the other tweets she made over the past few days that must have really pissed off Obama, Soros and Clinton:

"[Tommy Robinson] has tried to report on rape gangs being protected in UK. He was just arrested - which is a death sentence - please get involved! It's sick pedo shit.
As soon as Americans unite against the disinformation MK Ultra classist narrative, the better we will all be. Do people really not get that this lefty shit is all an act to break them all the way down?
Soros' goal: The overthrow of the US constitutional republic by buying and backing political candidates for local district attorney races who will ignore US law & favor 'feelings' instead. Then call everyone who is alarmed by that 'racist'.
Chelsea Soros Clinton.
CORRECTION: CHELSEA CLINTON IS NOT MARRIED TO A SOROS NEPHEW. HER HUSBAND IS THE SON OF A CORRUPT SENATOR, SO SORRY!
By the way, George Soros is a Nazi who turned in his fellow Jews to be murdered in German concentration camps & stole their wealth-were you aware of that? But, we all make mistakes, right Chelsea?
ISLAM is not a RACE, lefties. Islam includes EVERY RACE of people.
Want to know why Israelis have little patience for Jewish Democrats? Jews need to leave the Democrat shtetl (jewish ghetto) as well.
Most of my family are Liberals. I love them all, we just disagree on some things."
She wasn't fired for the Jarrett statement. She was fired because she is a Trump supporter and they wanted to get rid of her.

Mahmood Khan - Notorious Slumlord in Minneapolis.

Frustrated low-income tenants of DISGRACED SLUMLORD Mahmood Khan blasted Mahmood Khan and the city of Minneapolis, including Mayor Jacob Frey, for failing to help them as they face a court-ordered eviction on Aug. 31. Frey vowed to aid the tenants, who have been living for years in Mahmood's substandard housing in North Minneapolis. This has been going on for three years and, so far, the city HAS DONE NOTHING. Why is the city of Minneapolis protecting Mahmood Khan?
The renters filed a tenant remedies action against Khan, and housing court referee Mark Labine appointed Lighthouse Management to oversee the properties and decide whether it was economically viable to repair them. Lighthouse concluded that it would cost $2.1 million to $2.9 million to make the homes habitable for the next five to 15 years, and that rent payments would be insufficient to cover those costs. It recommended that tenants be evicted by Aug. 31, which Labine ordered, asking the city to help with relocation. About 30 of the residences still have tenants in them. Some have said they want to move, but others say they will stay beyond the Aug. 31 deadline.
“When it comes to helping the tenants, there has been a systematic failure by many different city departments and an acknowledgment of it by city staff and the mayor. We’ve been getting lip service from Frey since last November. Everybody is stressed. We are passed off from one agency to the next. Why not help us buy the homes? Khan bought the homes cheaply, then collected thousands of dollars of rent monthly with minimal upkeep. He once tried to sell all his buildings on Craigslist for $4.5 million."
How did this happen?
Minneapolis landlord Mahmood Khan has been battling the city for years over the licenses on his 42 rental properties, most of which are low-income duplexes and single-family homes scattered around north Minneapolis. Between 2008 and 2015, Khan’s 42 rental properties racked up 3,550 housing violations and garnered more than 2,200 visits from city housing inspectors.
The city began the process of revoking Khan’s licenses in early 2015. The City Council then voted in 2016 to officially pull the licenses, but delayed it until Khan exhausted his appeals.  Khan filed a separate federal lawsuit against the city, saying it is violating the Fair Housing Act by discriminating against a protected class of minority renters.  Khan appealed the city’s efforts to yank his licenses, and the Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled in the city’s favor. Khan then asked the Minnesota Supreme Court to hear the case. The high court refused to grant a hearing to Mahmood Khan in November 2017.  Then the City Council in December revoked all of Khan’s rental licenses.
"We never expected the United States Supreme Court to accept this case and it was just another instance of delay on the part of Mr. Khan," said Minneapolis City Attorney Susan Segal.
"These requests for services at Mr. Khan's properties have led to an inordinate number of site visits by housing inspectors to the properties resulting in an astounding number of written orders. The number of site visits and re-inspections to these properties has caused a drain on city resources and would not be necessary if the owner was proactive in his management of these properties."
Despite penalities, Khan's tenants are still waiting for repairs. Three months after Khan lost his landlord licenses, most major repair work has not yet begun leaving them in inhabitable conditions. Many do not have water or electricity.  Mold around the windows. Faulty electric wiring. Peeling lead paint and asbestos in the basement.
Officials say these problems and dozens more permeate houses owned by landlord Mahmood Khan. Barring major repairs and renovations, many of them are borderline unsuitable for tenants.
After Khan’s legal options were exhausted, the city of Minneapolis stripped him of his approximately 43 rental licenses in December, putting hundreds of tenants in limbo. Housing Court referee Mark Labine appointed an administrator, Lighthouse Management, to do immediate repairs, study the economic viability of rehabilitating the buildings and then report back to him on what they recommend.
Urban Homeworks, a local nonprofit, has been given responsibility by Lighthouse to review the problems in Khan’s 32 homes and duplexes where tenants are still living, and the buildings are in need of major overhaul. “I would rank [Khan’s buildings] among the worst that I have seen."
Khan, who works part-time as a flight attendant, said he’s been acquiring properties on the north side of Minneapolis since the 1980s and bought a batch of them a decade ago during the foreclosure crisis. Tenant advocates note that many of his tenants are poor blacks with housing records that included previous evictions, making it difficult to find better places to rent.
Khan said he will rent to people when no one else will. I want to know where he got the money to buy 42 properties. Sharia financing?

Massive Fires - Marijuana Drug Cartels

The media are reporting massive wildfires in Colorado. If you wonder why there seems to be so many more wildfires these days, it's partly due to the unforseen consequences of the legalization of marijuana. Law enforcement authorities – including senior Department of Homeland Security officials – and key people within the legal marijuana business say that the areas hit hardest by the fires are the same places that the marijuana industry legally grows cannabis, and are now starting to suspect foul play. The suspicious timing and sheer destruction of the fires has led them to believe the Mexican drug cartels – infamous for their ruthless tactics – had a hand in starting them. These cartels, which run a large share of the world’s multi-billion dollar illegal drug trade, certainly have the means to commit widespread arson in the United States. They also have an enormous incentive to drive up prices and hurt their competitors, and these fires are already accomplishing that. If Mexican drug lord involvement is confirmed, it will likely spark an international crisis between the United States and Mexico over the latter’s failure to rein in its criminal cartels.

For more than a decade, the Mexican drug cartels have been illegally growing weed in the forests of the United States, and federal agencies have had mixed success destroying these illicit crops. Today, California is the epicenter of black-market marijuana in the U.S., with over 90 percent of the country’s illegal marijuana farms. The authorities say they’re finding cartel-affiliated weed on government-owned lands in states including Oregon, Utah, Washington, Nevada and Arizona, all of which permit some form of medical marijuana. The problem has gotten so bad that Colorado began partnering with the Mexican Consulate to bust the narcos. Today, activists in California counties such as Calaveras are pushing back, trying to ban cannabis farms to cut off the cartels. They say drug traffickers are importing automatic weapons and using illegal, highly toxic pesticides that are eviscerating forest animals and poisoning freshwater sources. “We’re going down the toilet bowl,” says Calaveras County Sheriff Rick DiBasilio, “and it’s not going to get any better.”

Was 9/11 Planned To Make All Of America Muslim? You Decide.

This is speech given in Saudi Arabia and published in the Washington Times in 2007 about the future political and "intelligence operation" aspirations for Muslims in the U.S. Written over 12 years ago. Right before Obama became President. Proof that it's not organic. It's planned. I find it disturbing that the Palestinian cleric says that the 9/11 terror attack was positive because it "spurred Americans to learn more about Islam and Muslims." WTH. 3,000 Americans died so we could learn more about Islam? Was 9/11 planned to make all of America Muslim by shaming Americans into submission?
Cleric hopeful for U.S. Muslims
By - The Washington Times - Monday, August 6, 2007
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Muslims are steadily improving their position in U.S. society, contrary to the image of a community besieged by suspicions of links to militants, a leading U.S. Muslim cleric said yesterday.
Yahya Hendi, a prayer leader who teaches at Georgetown University, said the September 11, 2001, attacks on U.S. cities spurred Americans to learn more about Islam and Muslims to affirm their U.S. identity.
“I think the future is bright, because of our wisdom in dealing with the reality,” Mr. Hendi, a Palestinian by birth, said at a gathering of Saudi academics on a visit to Saudi Arabia.
“There are serious efforts being made among the second and third generation to become part of the political establishment. The challenge we face is in the media and from some Christian extremists who don’t want an Islamic presence in America.”
Mr. Hendi said U.S. Muslims were working on “nationalizing” Islam as part of the fabric of U.S. society, including cutting funding links to Muslim countries.
“Last year, we elected the first Muslim to Congress, and I expect that by 2015, there will be three or four, as well as at least 30 mayors,” he said, adding that the number of Muslim lawyers in the United States has multiplied since September 11.
Those terrorist attacks, in which 19 Arab Muslims killed about 3,000 people in New York and Washington, led to strict security measures in the United States that some rights groups say often unfairly target Arabs and Muslims.
Mr. Hendi, who met with President Bush days after September 11, said Muslims exhibited a tendency to shun political action such as voting and running for office because it was considered akin to surrendering to U.S. culture.
He said he did not feel there was general animosity toward Muslims in American society, and that he encouraged Muslims to join intelligence bodies such as the CIA and FBI.
Islam has about 17,000 converts a year in the United States, but that is behind converts to Buddhism and evangelical Christianity, he said.
Mr. Hendi told his Saudi audience that he did not believe in judging Muslims and non-Muslims over practices such as wearing the hijab head cover or praying five times a day.
Saudi Arabia, home to Islam’s holiest sites and 15 of the September 11 attackers, practices a strict form of Sunni Islam that gives clerics wide power to ensure rites are followed to the letter. Many Saudi clerics denounce Shi’ites as heretics.

Why Won't Facebook Respond To My Appeals?

These are the print screens of my, Peggy Traeger Tierney's, numerous attempts to file an appeal with Facebook regarding their blocking my account for 30 days because of my post reporting on Chelsea Manning's suicide attempt. Facebook asked me to  tell them why I should be unblocked. I then wrote an appeal, per their request. They then tell me they are "unable to process my request." Is this how it works? Phony requests for customer feedback? Blocking people for no reason?

This is what I wrote and am trying to send to Facebook. Does anyone know how to get it to them?

"Facebook: There was nothing hateful in my post reporting on the suicide attempt by Chelsea Manning. It was the truth. Every statement I made is supported by research and relevant articles written by mainstream news sources that you allow to appear on Facebook. My opinion that transgenderism is a mental illness is well-documented. Even the most famous gay feminist of all time - Camille Paglia - agrees with me. She says transgenderism is a fad of culture and sign of society decay. Many scholars and medical professionals agree that transgenderism is a mental illness - no different than anorexia or body dysmorphia. Also, the suicide rate for transgenders is extremely high and pre and post surgery rates are the same. Why am I blocked for expressing an opinion that transgenderism should be dealt with through therapy and not normalized and glorified. Tell me where the law says that group should be provided special privileges? I am deaf. I am not allowed in the military...nor should I be. I have a physical disability that prevents me from serving. I am not granted special privileges.

IMHO, transgenders have a mental disability that should prevent them from serving. The military PROHIBITS people with conditions like ADHD, bipolar, anorexia, depression, self-mutiliation, OCD, addiction, mood disorders - not to mention countless medical conditions - from serving. Why is it wrong for me to express my opinion that a transgender individual has mental health issues that cannot be resolved with surgery and that it is a mental disability that should render them unfit for military duty? Why is it wrong for me to inform the public that Chelsea Manning, who is running for a Senate seat in Maryland, announced on Twitter she wanted to kill herself...with a photo standing on the ledge of a tall building? Don't you think voters need to have that kind of information to make a sound decision about the leadership of our nation? You want voters to know every other element of a candidate's background. Including their sexual history. Yet, a suicide attempt is not worthy news to be reported on Facebook? I think a suicide threat should be reported for ANY candidate running for office. There is nothing hateful in the truth."

Roseanne Speaks

Roseanne on Twitter:
"I begged Ben Sherwood at ABC to let me apologize and make amends. I begged them not to cancel the show. I told them I was willing to do anything and asked for help in making things right. I'd worked doing publicity for them for free for weeks, traveling, through bronchitis. I begged for peoples' jobs.
He said: "What were you thinking when you did this?" I said: "I thought Valerie was white, she looks like my family!" He scoffed and said: "What you have done is egregious, and unforgivable." I begged for my crew's jobs. Will I ever recover from this pain? omg
Please don't compare me to other people who have said horrible things. I only care about apologizing for the hurt I have unwittingly & stupidly caused. I humbly confess contrition & remorse. I failed to correctly express myself and caused pain to people. I just wish ABC had not thrown two of the greatest actors in the world out with me-Laurie and John. I'm so sick over this-they will never have better character actors on their network.
I'm not a racist, I never was and I never will be. One stupid joke, in a lifetime of fighting for civil rights for all minorities against networks, studios, at the expense of my nervous system, family and wealth will NEVER be taken from me.
I think I'll be better tomorrow. The saddest part of all is for Jayden Rey on the show whom I grew to love so much & am so ashamed of myself that she would ever think I do not love her because she is African American. It's the most gawd awful painful thing. I can't let myself cave in though. They won't stop 'til I die. I fear. Pray for me."
Ben Sherwood is the Co-Chairman of Disney Media Networks, and the President of Disney-ABC Television Group. Sherwood is the former President of ABC News.

Connect the dots - Blagojevich, Libby, Fitzgerald, Comey, Obama.

President Trump said today that he's considering commuting the sentence of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and pardoning Martha Stewart. With the pardons of Jack Johnson, Dinesh D'Souza, Joe Arpaio and Scooter Libby, it sounds to me like President Trump is trying to undo malicious prosecution of the previous administrations and right egregious wrongs...particularly those by Patrick Fitzgerald.
Patrick Fitzgerald, Comey's right hand man, was involved in the prosecution of many of these folks. Who is Patrick Fitzgerald, besides the guy James Comey just hired on his legal team and who he leaked his memos to? U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, who oversaw the prosecutions of Illinois Governors George Ryan and Rod Blagojevich, stepped down suddenly in 2012 and was the longest serving U.S. attorney in Chicago history, holding the office for more than 10 1/2 years. Hmm. Blagojevich?
Fitzgerald oversaw the public corruption investigations that resulted in the convictions of both Ryan and Blagojevich.
Among other prosecutions during Fitzgerald's career:
In December 2003, Fitzgerald was served as special counsel in the investigation of the outing of a covert employee of the CIA. The investigation resulted in the indictment of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, then chief of staff and national security adviser to Vice President Dick Cheney.
Fitzgerald was lead counsel in Libby's trial that resulted in Libby's conviction on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.
In 2010, Fitzgerald was appointed special attorney to supervise the investigation of former CIA officer John Kiriakou for allegedly repeatedly disclosing classified information to journalists, including the name of a covert CIA officer and information revealing the role of another CIA employee in classified activities.
At the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan, Fitzgerald participated in the prosecution of those involved in the August 1998 bombings of the United States Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, and the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center and a plot to bomb other New York landmarks.
Eric Holder said in a statement that Fitzgerald "has served the American people and the citizens of Illinois with the utmost integrity and a steadfast commitment to the cause of justice."
"Over the years, he has gained the trust of two presidents and the unwavering confidence of four attorneys general, and I am deeply grateful to him for his service and his friendship over the years."
This should be interesting.
Connecting more dots. James Comey used Patrick Fitzgerald to take down Scooter Libby, whom Trump just pardoned, and Rod Blagojevich, who is hoping for a pardon. Hours after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected what is likely ex-Governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich’s final plea to overturn his conviction and 14 year prison sentence, his wife Patti Blagojevich went on TV to sway President Donald Trump.

The President has the authority to pardon the disgraced governor. She drew similarities between her husband’s prosecution by James Comey's pal, former U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, and that of Dick Cheney's adviser, Lewis “Scooter” Libby, whom Trump pardoned last week.

“My husband is probably the only person in the entire history of the United States who is serving any kind of sentence for simply asking for campaign contributions."

Blagojevich was a contestant on Trump’s program “The Celebrity Apprentice” in 2010 as he faced charges that he tried to sell off President Barack Obama’s Senate seat. In April 2010, Blagojevich moved to subpoena Obama.
Why did Comey's pal Patrick Fitzgerald prosecute Blagojevich? With a string of high-profile prosecutions under his belt, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald presented corruption charges against former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich in December 2008. RIGHT AFTER OBAMA WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT.
Fitzgerland, the man often mentioned as a candidate to be the next FBI Director after Robert Mueller, suffered a setback at Blagojevish's trial. Jurors deadlocked on all but one charge. The failure to win a bigger conviction raised questions about possible missteps by prosecutors - and about Fitzgerald's future.
"Fitzgerald's been there for three presidential terms, and that's unusual. The power can go to your head. You can't get personal with defendants, and he does."
Fitzgerald rose to prominence by convicting another former Illinois governor, George Ryan, of corruption, and media mogul Conrad Black of defrauding investors. He was also tapped by James Comey to be the special prosecutor in Washington's CIA leak case, eventually convicting former Vice President Dick Cheney's top aide, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby for perjury and other offenses.
In the Blagojevich investigation, some critics have questioned whether Fitzgerald moved too fast to arrest the former governor, whether his team put on an overly complicated case and whether he became too personally involved in the matter.
After a hung jury, two of the nation's largest newspapers struck hard at Fitzgerald, with one saying he should drop the Blagojevich case, and a second calling on him to resign. A Washington Post editorial said the prosecutor got his shot at Blagojevich and lost and "should stand down before crossing another fine line - the one that separates prosecution from persecution." The same day, the Wall Street Journal wrote, "If Mr. Fitzgerald doesn't resign of his own accord, the Justice Department should remove him."
Jurors failed to convict Blagojevich on the charge that he schemed to sell or trade an appointment to President Barack Obama's former Senate seat. In interviews after the mistrial, jurors said the government's case was too confusing and too long, and they wanted a "smoking gun" to connect the defendant's profanity-laden talk on government wire taps with actual crimes. Some jurors and legal analysts said Fitzgerald may have had Blagojevich arrested too soon.
Within fifteen minutes after the mistrial was declared, Fitzgerald's prosecution team announced that they would definitely pursue a retrial on the twenty-three mistrial counts. A post-verdict court date was set for August 23, 2010.
Federal prosecutors reduced the number of counts for Blagojevich's retrial, and on June 27, 2011, he was found guilty of 17 of the 20 remaining charges, not guilty on one, and no verdict was rendered by the jury on two counts. He was found guilty on all charges pertaining to the Senate seat, as well as extortion relating to state funds being directed towards a children's hospital and race track. However, he was acquitted on a charge pertaining to the tollway extortion and avoided a guilty verdict (by split decision) on attempting to extort Rahm Emanuel. On December 7, 2011, Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison. On June 30, 2012, Patrick Fitzgerald stepped down.
"He violated the code of ethics, the standard of the Justice Department in holding his press conference," said Victoria Toensing, a former Justice Department official who's now a Washington lawyer.
Earlier in his career, Fitzgerald served 13 years as an assistant U.S. attorney in the southern district of Manhattan, helping prosecute organized crime as well as terrorism cases involving the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center and the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.
Fitzgerald's name was repeatedly mentioned as a possible replacement for FBI Director Robert Mueller, who was eventually replaced with Fitzgerald's pal, James Comey.
Obama refused to commute Blagojevich's sentence. His daughter said to Obama:
"I thought you would finally right this wrong. You didn't have to pardon him, only commute the sentence. You just had to let him come home. You didn't. You released others, like Chelsea Manning and FALN terrorists, who actually committed reprehensible crimes, but you failed to release an innocent man. I'm glad you're gone. I'm not delusional — you're not a saint. You were a mediocre president with unoriginal ideas."
The FBI wiretapped Blagojevich in 2008. Blagojevich had little love for Obama:
"This fucking Obama ran on my record, okay? He said he brought healthcare to kids. You know what I'm saying? He voted for it as a State Senator. You know, he's talking about a capital bill and spending on healthcare for working families."
"Somebody from the US Attorney's Office (or one of their former employees) leaked these classified FBI tapes to the opposition. The opposition campaign should be criminally charged for breaking the still standing court order sealing the tapes. This is clearly a case of someone from the US Attorney's office playing partisan politics, while they did everything they could to make sure we could not play the tapes that vindicated me. BTW, the tape played corroborates the fact that I was looking to appoint Lisa Madigan in exchange for more health care for Illinois citizens, a capital bill to put people to work, and a balanced budget."
How is Obama connected? Blagojevich was aware that Barack Obama would have preferred "Senate Candidate #1" (Valerie Jarrett), and he allegedly made efforts to obtain favors in exchange for appointing Jarrett for the U.S. Senate seat. Blagojevich said in a conversation with his chief of staff, in reference to what Obama would give him in exchange for Jarrett's appointment, "All they're going to give me in return is gratitude. The Senate seat's a f**ing valuable thing. F**k them." There was public speculation as to whether Obama's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel had a role in any discussions with the governor's office. An internal investigation by the Obama team stated that Emanuel had communicated with the Governor's office about who might be appointed to the Obama seat, but nothing unethical or inappropriate had transpired. On December 10, 2008 Obama called for Blagojevich's resignation.
In a December 11 press conference, Obama stated that he, his staff and his transition team were not involved in any corrupt activity, and that his staff had been exonerated by the 76-page FBI affidavit. He stated that, not only had he never engaged the governor on the topic of his Senate seat, but he was "confident that no representative of mine would have any part in any deals related to this seat". His administration compiled a summary of who might have known what at various times. Obama stated that he did not think Blagojevich could "effectively serve the people of Illinois" and that his former Senate seat "belongs to the people". He also stated that to his knowledge, no representatives of his had engaged in any deal making with the governor. On December 15, the Obama team confirmed that its internal review found no inappropriate contact between Obama's staff and Blagojevich or his staff, stating "that review affirmed the public statements of the president-elect that he had no contact with the governor or his staff over the selection of his successor as U.S. president-elect's staff was not involved in inappropriate discussions with the governor or his staff over the selection of his successor as U.S. Senator". Right. In April 2010, Blagojevich moved to subpoena Obama. Then he went to trial and prison for 14 years.
Hmm. Sounds like a replay of what we are seeing today with Comey and Fitzgerald and his memos! A major illegal leak that took down a sitting Governor that Obama and Emmanuel wanted out of the way. Everybody covering every body else's ass. Connect the dots. Remember, Blagojevich was prosecuted by Comey's pal, Patrick Fitzgerald, who was promised a Cabinet job if he appointed an Obama-person to the Senate. That person was VALERIE JARRETT. Is Trump pardoning Blagojevich in exchange for his testimony on Comey/Fitzgerald/Obama/Jarrett?
