Why TPP and TiSa are not FREE or FAIR trade.

Here's why President Trump killed dangerous trade agreements like TPP and TiSa and is rewriting NAFTA. They are not free trade. They are not fair trade. TPP and TiSa are Globalist schemes designed to replace America's national sovereignty with corporate slavery. People would become citizens of corporations rather than nation states, losing all Constitutional protections. Traded like cattle to the highest corporate bidder.

You work for a major international corporation and they want you to move to Vietnam and work for $1/hour? You go. Or you go to jail. You want to bring your family with you? Sorry, no room at the inn. Nobody has actually read these trade agreements. I did. Scary stuff. They are nothing more than political payback to wealthy corporate donors.

TPP was another attempt by Globalists to give elitists & international corporations power over nation states. Citizens would be forced to give up control of their destiny and stripped of the ability to protect themselves from corporate predators, safeguard the ecosystem and find redress and justice in our now anemic and often dysfunctional and partisan democratic institutions. The agreements—filled with jargon, convoluted technical, trade and financial terms, legalese, fine print and obtuse phrasing—can be summed up in two words: corporate enslavement.

The TPP removes legislative authority from Congress and the White House on a range of issues. Judicial power is often surrendered to three-person trade tribunals in which ONLY corporations are permitted to sue. Workers, environmental and advocacy groups and labor unions are blocked from seeking redress in the proposed tribunals. The rights of corporations become sacrosanct. The rights of citizens are abolished. The people lose ALL THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS.

Not only that, but TPP and TiSa quickly would enable corporations to achieve monopoly, privatized power over our healthcare, media, food, water, energy, and money, all part of the TPP/TiSa plan to control EVERY industry we require for survival. Think Net Neutrality - the scheme designed to give total monopoly power over the internet to Big Tech like Google, Apple & Facebook. Consumer price controls and protection out the window. For example, pharmaceutical prices would SKYROCKET.

The Sierra Club issued a statement after the release of the TPP text saying that the “deal is rife with polluter giveaways that would undermine decades of environmental progress, threaten our climate, and fail to adequately protect wildlife because big polluters helped write the deal.”

For once, the Sierra Club was right on.
