Legal immigrants in the U.S. from the Republic of Guinea in West Africa were arrested for owning slaves...in Texas! How is the media going to spin this as white privilege? Africans enslaving other Africans.
Mohamed Toure and Denise Florence Cros-Toure, were arrested in Texas for enslaving a girl they bought from the Republic of Guinea 16 years ago. They were charged with forced labor, harboring an alien for financial gain, and two counts of conspiracy.
They are the son and daughter-in-law of former Guinean President Ahmed Sekou Toure, and Cros-Toure's father was the nation's secretary of state. The wealthy couple arranged for the unnamed slave to travel to the US from her rural Guinean village in 2000. She's now in her late 20s or early 30s.
Toure and Cros-Toure were both Guinean natives and were granted asylum in the United States in 2000. They forced the Guinean girl to work for 16 years in their home, ordering her to cook, clean, and care for their five kids in their Texas home.
BTW, African Muslims are the most prolific slavers in history. In modern-day Libya, Libyans enslave their neighbors from Nigeria. They sell them in open markets for $200-$400 a head, beat them and then roast them for dinner, like kebabs, after harvesting their organs for profit. Not kidding.
