Even intelligent children I know have emerged from liberal colleges brainwashed into believing the Palestinians own the TEMPLE MOUNT. Same way they believe all whites are EVIL, even their own parents, and must be exterminated. The first Jewish Temple was built on the Temple Mount in 1000 BC, 1,600 years before Muhammed was even born! All other religions preceded Islam by 600-2,600 years. Muhammed stole stories from other religions to make his own, then instructed his followers to go forth and kill all non-Muslims. He invented the monotheist political cult of Islam to terrorize the world, invade nations and steal land. The biggest con ever perpetrated on mankind. It continues today. How stupid are we for believing their lies?
For over a thousand years a Jewish Temple to God stood atop the Temple Mount. Solomon’s Temple stood from approximately 966-586 BCE and was rebuilt about 70 years after it was destroyed by the army of Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar II. The Second Temple stood from approximately 516 BCE until it was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE. Ninety years before the Second Temple was destroyed, King Herod upgraded the Temple and expanded the Temple Mount grounds. Muhammed didn't even invent Islam and start spreading Islam through his bloody military conquest until 613 AD, some 1,600 years after the Jewish Temple to God was first built.
The Temple Mount is the holiest site for the Jewish people and was the location for numerous pivotal moments in the Bible. It is believed to be the location where God created Adam from the dust, where Abraham brought Isaac in order to sacrifice him and where kings Solomon and Hezekiah built the first and second Temples, respectively.
Today the Muslims claim the Temple Mount is theirs, and there was never a Jewish temple on top of Mount Moriah. Even the anti-Semites in the United Nations deny the Temple Mount’s Jewish heritage and sides with the Arabs. But any claim the Temple Mount is anything but Jewish is simply propaganda that ignores the fact that the ancient Greeks, Romans, Christians, and even the ancient Muslims reported Jerusalem and the Temple Mount were the property of the Jewish people. The claim that the Temple Mount belongs to Muslims is the ultimate in FAKE NEWS. I'd say the Jews were there first, huh? Why don't they teach this stuff in school? Mind boggling.
The wall or the Kotel (which is Hebrew for wall) which is also known as the Wailing Wall or Western Wall is not part of Holy Temple. It is part of the retaining wall built by Herod to prevent the collapse of the expanded Temple Mound grounds.
Every year, Arabs attack Israel to protest the anniversary of Jerusalem Day. Jerusalem Day is an Israeli holiday that annually commemorates the reunification of Jerusalem after Israeli forces established control over it, once again, following the 1967 Six Day War. On that day, for the first time since 1948, the holy city of Jerusalem was united and Jews were once again permitted to go to Mount Moriah. The top of Mount Moriah, known as the Temple Mount, is the holiest site in the Jewish faith.
When visiting the Temple Mount today, Jews are told to hide their Star of David and refrain from singing, carrying Israeli flags, bowing, touching or praying. Many people don’t know, but it’s illegal for Jews to pray at the Temple Mount, their holiest site, due the agreement made between Arabs and Jews.
Palestinians call this day Nakba Day, meaning "the day of catastrophe." For the Palestinians it is an annual day of commemoration of the displacement that preceded and followed the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948. Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, was quoted by the New York Times in 1948 as saying “If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea.”
