What is NAMBLA? The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) is a pedophile and pederasty advocacy organization in the United States. It works to abolish age-of-consent laws criminalizing adult sexual involvement with minors and campaigns for the release of men who have been jailed for sexual contacts with minors. NAMBLA's long-standing motto encourages adult males to have sex with boys before eight years of age to ensure indoctrination: “Sex before eight – or it’s too late.”
Today, some pedophiles now call themselves "minor-attracted persons" (MAPs). MAPs have their own language in the pedo-sphere, which is divided into the "boy love," sometimes abbreviated "BL," and "girl love" communities. MAPs are actively lobbying to have an "M" added to the acronym LGBTQ.
Around 1995, an undercover detective discovered there were 1,100 people on the organization's rolls. In 1997, NAMBLA was the largest group in IPCE, an international pro-pedophile activist organization. As of 2005, a newspaper report stated that NAMBLA was based in New York and San Francisco. In 2007, seven members of NAMBLA, including two teachers, were arrested in Southern California and charged with having sex with boys.
While the media pretends NAMBLA doesn't exist anymore, critics say men like James Gunn, the Hollywood director recently fired from Disney for his pedophile tweets, was a proud member of NAMBLA.
